ITR3 xls form not generating xml, what to do now?

I have tried opening the ITR3 form(downloaded from income tax website) in google spreadsheets,zoho, microsoft excel online, it is not opening at all. In my libreoffice calc (linux, I dont have windows at home), It is showing lot of errors in macros VBA. I am not able to generate xml file !!!

What other options do I have to file income tax before deadline ?
Does https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home have an online form filling facility ?

Helps to use Excel desktop versions. Also, you may want to try the java based facility (available on the IT website) next tax filing season. Cheers.
