Jio jumps 21%, Reliance falls 3%. Is money rotating?

Jio Platforms listed at ₹1,358 against its issue price of ₹1,119. The IPO’s estimated listing gain came to ₹6,453 crore across allocated shares.

Meanwhile, Reliance Industries fell nearly 3%.

Are investors betting on Jio’s standalone growth while becoming less bullish on Reliance, or is the stock fall unrelated to the listing?

Finally got my first ipo allotment for 1 lot today in Jio and i am holding a huge gain of approx Rs 3k unrealised, waiting for some more upside in the next 2-3 days and then exit maybe. So, i got my chunk of profit in that 6453 cr.

Bhai yaha market upar ja rrha hai ya niche ja rha hai, yeh clear nahi rehta

Tum logo ko reason chahiye

Why is this happening

Is money rotating. Kal fir ulta rotate ho jayega then what

Bhai, market ko direction nahi mil rahi aur finfluencers ko explanation dene se fursat nahi. :joy: Har move ke baad nayi theory, har reversal ke baad nayi story.

The real controversy is whether Jio’s IPO is creating value or simply giving investors a new price tag for a business they already partly own through Reliance.

If Jio gets a premium valuation while Reliance falls, the market may be signalling that the conglomerate discount is real — or that IPO hype is doing the heavy lifting. Are retail investors getting a genuine growth opportunity, or just paying a premium for the same Reliance story in a new wrapper?

Exactly bhai :joy: I got a pretty amazing return by selling all my allotted shares today, got more than what I was expecting. So for now I’m in the “don’t know, don’t care” zone :joy: Maybe the extreme hype is still playing out, but I’ll definitely keep tracking it.
