My EDMC stock has plummeted amid speculation of voluntary delisting. The value is so low at this point, I wonder if it is worth just hanging on to it. I am a novice trader, so was interested in other’s take on this. Cashing out for an inconsequential amount, or just riding it out to the end…
Once delisted, you will be holding on to an asset with no liquidity to it, with a hope that someday in the future the company either buys back or gets relisted on the exchange (which is highly unlikely). You will have to take a call on the business, if you believe in it - hold on otherwise get out with whatever you can salvage.
Better to come out (SELL), don’t wait with a hope of re-listing, it never happens or rather very very rarely happens.
