List of Cos. in the BSE Sector Classification (As Found in NSDL FII Data)?

Hi all,

The NSDL lists fortnightly Sector-wise FPI / FII Investment data on its site at https://www.fpi.nsdl.co.in/web/Reports/FPI_Fortnightly_Selection.aspx

The report mentions that the sector classification adopted is based on the BSE sector classification. (There are 35 sectors).

Does anyone know where I can find the list of companies that are included in each sector? I googled quite a bit but haven’t been able to find anything.

I did check the BSE website earlier. The sectors I came across there are more bifuracted & much greater in number than the 35 sectors that the NSDL reports on.

As you can see, there’s a lot more than 35.

Just look at the sector on NSDL page and select accordingly on BSE to view stocks in that sector.

I have been trying to do the same. It’s too complicated . Tons of new sectors and don’t know which subsectors come under the classified sectors on NSDL … no wonder why retail loses most of time. …

Any luck finding a solution for the issue ?
