@nithin a request for zerodha to let us use number of lots on pi quick order instead of quantities which frankly is irritating, as traders we use number of lots to think, talk or trade. using quantities just complicates the process. can u give us an option to select lots as default for all windows(quick order placement, order history, holdings, admin positions) ? i see its available only for admin position in pi for now but i would love to get it for quick order too.
@haribabu @Lets_Invest @gopchem i request all you experienced traders to give ur input on this.
i see the below thread is similar but not the same and my query is different.
(Lot sizes in Kite instead of quantity?)
Yes, but you don’t have to remember the lot sizes. The lot size and its multiples are already fed into the quick order window and you have up/down arrow keys to change the lot size.

Srinivas I can’t mentally guess 9 lots of nifty but I know what 9 lots of nifty is that’s the main point, I know what u r trying to say it’s easy can u mentally in a second tel me what is 13 lots of nifty? Or 67 lots u can’t but u know what 67 lots is. When u tel ur position to someone u don’t say 750 quantities u say 10 lots of nifty.

Lot size vary productwise, but our trade volume doesn’t depends on lots size . We trade on no of lots basis. It’s mentally hazard to calculate 6 lots of NIFTY future or 8 lots of VEDL. So I fully agreed with @karticknarayan that there should be option for setting quantity as lots no.
I have see This type of Feature is available in Upstox Broker.
Where ever their is a lots size for any segment.
This goes like This.
If have to buy 2 lots of Nifty Futures You enter 2 in Quantity of Order form and Lot Size is Visible in the Order Form like this 2*75 = 150.
In This way you Quickly place the orders.
