Closing Bell: Gainers: Yes Bank (+6%), SBI (+5%), Tata Steel (+4%). Losers: GAIL (-3.6%), Wipro (-3%), HPCL (-1%).

IDFC Bank get prior approval of NSE to proposed amalgamation of Capital First with co.

Nifty PSU Bank Index gains over 4.5%. Canara Bank (+10.5%), BoB (+6%), SBI, Union Bank (+5%).

Dilip Buildcon wins order worth Rs 936 Cr.

NMDC to pay Rs 4.30/share interim dividend.

Punj Lloyd gets contract worth Rs 505 Cr in Odisha.

Nifty IT Index down 0.63%. Wipro (-3.5%), Mindtree, Infosys (-1%).

Adani Enterprises unit signs coal mining pact with NLC. Stock jumps 8%.
