Is it possible to build a calculator that takes amount as the input and let us know how many lots we can buy at the prevailing option rates during the market time? EXAMPLE: IF I have Rs.1,00,000 in may account and would like to short a few PUT/CALL options, in this scenario, if I give 1 lakh amount as input to this calculator, then it should show how many lots I can short at different strike prices based on the prevailing rates. That means, the results from this calculator changes every second based on the strike price changes. If this type of calculator is already there, please let me know.
There is a margin calculator from Zerodha: https://zerodha.com/margin-calculator/SPAN/. However, the results from this calculator are not matching with the prevailing rates during the market time.
