Margin Call and Pledge requests

On 26th Dec 2024, the monthly expiry day, I received a margin call in the morning. I was wondering if I can meet such margin calls by initiating a pledge request at the same time. @Meher_Smaran

+1 for this question. In Dhan I can pledge and get margin benefit in 10 minutes, but in Zerodha I only get it the next day :frowning:

Hope pledged margin( From holdings & MFs)utilization for MTF is also under pipeline.

Hope its ready soon. I am surprised that Zerodha, which is usually in the forefront needs to follow others.

@sn88 that could not be possible that you pledge your holding and use collateral margin you received against pledge will again use for MTF…

means you wish to buy shares with Zerodha’s fund and pledge shares to Zerodha… :joy: :joy: :joy:

MTF pledge and Holding(CNC) PLEDGE are not same

Haha, App pledge kar sakte ho avi b in zerodha. Only issue is the margin can’t be used for MTF at present. Only for Option sell and FUTs.
