Margin requirement in case of slm and limit orders

Let’s say I have bought 1 lac worth of RIL
margin reqd 20k
And if I place a limit sell order margin for this would be 0
But if I also want to place a SLM order will I need additional 20k

I would recommend you to try placing the order, you can place for 1 eq share of small value, even same with fno, any small option. Point is one should try doing things and if missed to understand any logic then they should ask others. This way you will learn many things, can cover different cases.
