Markets are crazy for IPOs - Are they backed by fundamentals?

IPOs have had a really good year. But do you agree to whether the price rises are backed by fundamentals?

The recent Capcite IPO a 400cr issue was oversubscribed by 186 times and this shocked me. What do you guys think?

Everything including the large caps are way ahead of there earning so fundamentals are what participants are currently believing to be true. If it wasn’t so then we would have had a correction after GDP and inflation numbers, one showing sign of slowing growth the other a signal that RBI is not going to cut rates about which the markets were getting very bullish about still we crossed all time high so party is continuing.

Well if you see some of them have given negative returns so we can say that we are following fundamentals but I think market is getting over bullish about the right stocks giving them higher valuations which is a sign of bull markets.

Sigachi Industries Lists at a premium of +270.3% Looks like it is the highest ever listing gain from the time IPO started …any data which are the other ones??

What a crazy IPO market this is !!!
