Max loss kill switch please!

@nithin sir please give us this feature, it’s been over a year waiting after you promised. This will benefit both the traders and the brokers as most traders exit trading after one or two big losses. Imagine 95 percent traders quitting within 6 months of trading. This will be like a milestone in the era of trading bringing confidence in traders to trade without fear.
P.S while you are at it also give auto naming of the price alerts feature and sometimes the alert fails to trigger.

Kill switch getting triggered by an X loss in the trading account is a slightly technical challenge. We have to combine Console’s historical P&L with the live Kite P&L and then trigger this action. Currently, we don’t store historical P&L, we generate it when customer queries for it. This is on our list of things to do, but will take time.

Fails to trigger OR not received a push notification. Can you DM more details like id, alert name? Otherwise, you can also raise a ticket in the support portal.

@Arockiya_Raja sir the trigger notification comes via 2 methods one is kite alert and other is by email. The email one never fails to come on trigger being taken by price, but the kite notification sometimes fails to come. I will for sure share with you the next time this phenomenon happens.
I for one has enabled both types of notifications so that just in case the kite notification fails to come atleast the mail one would come for sure.

@nithin sir thanku so much for the reply, please sir if we can have a time frame atleast (say 6 months, a year) in which the max loss switch will be activated. I wait each day and after a lot of waiting have written to you sir, please humble request to share a time duration needed for this atleast.

Make sure you have not selected power-saving mode on your mobile phone. If the issue persists, please DM details, I will check it further.
