i have sell means shorted a position in "icicibank 280 oct exp call " at 11.80 today
i want to that may i hold this shorted quantity till monday or 29 oct 2015 which is its expiry

yes you can hold shorted option call till expiry if you want if you maintain margin, exchange will settle.

n if my desired price does not hit till exp what will happen if i dont execute it on exp date
margin you can check in span calculator, if you are shorting option you require complete margin…i think… at expire will be settled by exchange if not cleared position.
