Hello, what will be the expiry date for GoldM September Futures contract?
Also, if I am understanding correctly, GoldM, SilverM, Gold, Silver etc as per MCX expire on 5th of the month and they have physical delivery. However, Zerodha doesn’t allow physical delivery so by which date should the position of a specific month be squared off?

The expiry for GoldM (Gold Mini) and SilverM (Silver Mini) contracts on the MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange of India) varies depending on the specific contract month. For example, in August 2024, the GoldM and SilverM contracts expiring on August 30th have a deadline to square off positions before 7 PM on August 23rd.

Best way to check the expiry date for any contract is to expand the FUT or Option from your watchlist and check the expiry. For square off dates, you will have to refer to the excel sheet only. It is usually a week before the expiry date.
Looks like the option contract for the month shows the square off date while the FUT contract shows the actual expiry date.
