Pledge created on weekends will get processed on Monday at 2 pm. You’ll receive email from CDSL around 2.15-2.30 pm.

No, if the same stocks are pledged, no need to sq. off positions. Collateral margins will show up on Monday morning.
It was an automated call to request you to authorize the pledge, ignore if done.

Pledge will be considered. A confirmation email was sent sometime ago.
Did you have pledge in the old system? If yes, did you try and authorize it anytime during the day? If pledge was authorized from your end, an email was sent acknowledging the same. Did you get the email?

No nothing such has happened also I am trying to authenticate for the first time now and I have not visited the website before.I am trying for the first time.
Wait until 2.15-2.30 pm on Monday, all new requests are processed in batches. Once at 2.00 and once at 5.00 on weekdays. You’ll have time until 7 to authorize the pledge.

Is this process same for all brokers like 5paisa, upstox?and also will It cause any charges if I complete the process after 48 hours ??
I confirmed the repledge in CDSL after 8 PM. will that be a problem to my pledged margin on Monday?
No, you’ll get collateral margins on Monday morning.

Got it but I haven’t been yet able to submit my pan and OTP due to the error message , should I keep trying?

- Will there be pledging charges for this ?
- Will there be short margin penalty/ interest charges ?
Hi @VenuMadhav, would they also show up in Console? The ones pledge yesterday are not showing up in Console.
@VenuMadhav The dividend for ITC share will be paid on the basis of beneficial ownership as on 7th July, 2020 when I had pledged them with you. Now I have transferred to the new pledge system. ITC will pay dividend around 8th September 2020…How will I get the dividends now ?

Even I was getting same error, but today around 12:30 pm I received a cdsl message again to go through the process and after today’s message I was able to complete the otp authentication process. It seems we need to authenticate within few hours of the cdsl notification, if not done then next day again authentication process will start freshly and then you can complete.
Didn’t you get an email from Zerodha yday stating pledge is successful?
