Migration from old pledge to the new pledge mechanism

Even I was getting same error, but today around 12:30 pm I received a cdsl message again to go through the process and after today’s message I was able to complete the otp authentication process. It seems we need to authenticate within few hours of the cdsl notification, if not done then next day again authentication process will start freshly and then you can complete.

Pledge was setup only for such clients who did not authorize it yday/authorization failed.

Hi @VenuMadhav, would they also show up in Console? The ones pledge yesterday are not showing up in Console.

Please check early morning tomorrow, they’ll be updated. We’re still in the process of migration, not all clients authorized pledge yday.

I have completed otp process at 12.30 am on 30 aug (haven’t completed process before 8 pm 29 aug)
So will i be short of margin on monday and my positions will be squared off?

I had a strange issue…Not sure if any one had similar issue.

I use mozilla firefox and google chrome portable versions (latest).

I was facing this issue since morning… (internet was fine)…

Despite switching off Ghostery and Ad blocker, issue remained. Finally used another browser

epicbrowser (https://www.epicbrowser.com/ ) wherein it worked fine.

This is just a note for any one facing same issue.

If you want to pledge and trade fno you can but it is your call, you should understand how it works before pledging.

You got margins for pledged? kite won’t show if pledged but console will be updated in sometime.

Kite seems to have retained old values for funds. But in console Account value is reduced by as much as pledged quantity/value.

It’s not compulsory to pledge holdings, you’ve to pledge only if you want margins.

I am planning to unpledge some of my pledged stocks today. i am not able to find in Console now. Please advice how to unpledge.

Hope it will come before cutoff time for unpledge today(31st Aug 20). I have to sell them tomorrow.

i created pledge on saturday 1.50pm for LIquid bees , told that i will get cdsl email today 2.00pm , but i got one cdsl email for my old demat account for fractional qty ? does what i made pledge request in console reflected in that old demat due to my same default PAN no for both demats ?

Hi - when can we expect stocks pledged under the new system to appear under the Holdings page on Console? Don’t see them there right now though the pledge appears to have been created.
