MIS vs NRML in FO intraday, in reg Turnover

Hi,

If I place NRML order for derivative orders, instead of MIS, will it affect my year end turnover total? I square-off all positions before day end.

Thanks for your help!

I think no. As NRML orders are treated as MIS if you square off on the same day.

So what you select while placing buy or sell order is immaterial as at the end of the day its treated as MIS trade only.

@starttrade @GoutamHebbar ,

Here is fact that derivative income are treated as business income and turnover for derivative are calculated on the basis of

Future-: sell value- buy value

Option-: sell value-buy valve + premium received

*note that for option if you face loss then buy value will be your turnover and if there is profit then profit + sell value will be your option turn its simple calculation.

Donot treat derivative income as speculative income even thou MIS is for intraday.

Agree. Derivative is Non-Speculative. And also turnover calculation for Futures & Options is different.
