More than 80% CAGR?

Hello everyone,

Just read the old article where Rakesh Jhunjuhunwala said that Nifty can reach 1,25,000 level in 2030 so does that mean considering current situation / level, we can expect more than 80% CAGR?

From current level 10,605 to 1,25,000 = 1078% Growth / 12 Years = 89%

Do you think this is possible? Please justify your answer.

Thanks in advance

Think he would have said about sensex. Can you post the article?

Yes, he predicted about Sensex as well…

  1. Nifty at 100000 & Sensex at 400000 by 2030

  2. Nifty will hit 1,25,000 by 2030: Jhunjhunwala

How, can you please explain? I am using this Logic

From current level 10,605 to 1,25,000 = 1078% Growth / 12 Years = 89% Per Year

In excel, you can use the rate formula: =RATE(12,0,-10605,125000)
This will give the result as 22.82%
