Available for API users, our team will add it to documentation in next few days.
I was using sharekhan but they never charged interest in case if my ledger was in excess than position taken.
This helped me to built portfoilio and pay for shares bought on mtf. Once fully paid i converted it to delivery.
I believe it is wrong accounting practise to charge for interest in case u have ledger balance more then the position taken
MTF ledger and non MTF ledger are maintained separately. This is a regulatory requirement. Interest is charged if your MTF ledger is in a debit balance.
Also, the credit available in your non MTF ledger is available for you to trade, withdraw, so expecting it to be net off against MTF debit and then charging interest, does not seem right.
Anyways i hardly use MTF hope u guys up with a system where if user want he can determine how much funding he wants / or add money to mtf ledger to reduce interest.
What i really look forward from u guys is to provide T + 5 days for delivery based on pledge margin hope thats in pipe line
Guys I have filled the activation form with client id - BS2506
Had shifted to Dhan for MTF reason solely; glad to be back with Zerodha again

Dear ZERODHA Team,
I am beta user of MTF I want to suggest one point in MTF is Please display the available margin in MTF that how much time margin available in MTF like 2X, 3x,.
I am attaching Fyers screenshot just for example
The mtm margin that you guys collect for keeping the ratio constant is cash only or can be cash equivalent too? (Like liquidbees etf or overnight etfs)?
@siva @Ragavendran_M MTF stock can be used for physical settlement, if options contract is in ITM on expiry day. And postion is in give delivery
As of now, it is not possible. In the future, we will have the net-off option.
This has to be in the form of pure cash, not cash equivalent.
