MUltiple accounts one setup

Is it possible to place the same buy/sell order simultaneously in multiple Zerodha accounts from a single interface?
If yes, then how?

Not possible. Also SEBI compliance rules doesn’t allow this.

Hi Nithin, How come many people are creating a company and trade via that? Can I also create a company and trade people funds via that company? Kindly help it out here?

If people are doing that, they are being non-compliant. The only legal way is to get a PMS license, AIF license (hedge fund), or starting a mutual fund.

If you check the SEBI order on HBJ capital 1 year back where they got debarred. It is clearly mentioned that promising people returns and taking them as partners etc for a business is not allowed.

@nithin if we want to trade as a company where multiple people can make the orders on behalf on the company and use multiple terminals. Is it possible ? If so what kind of licence the company needs to apply for ?

That is quite straight forward. We can create multiple dealer terminals mapped to one trading account. All the dealers can than place orders on this main account. You will have to keep track P&L of each terminal on your own though. Each person with the dealer terminal needs to be NISM certified, and you’d have to become an authorized person with us. You can reach out to [email protected]/ @siva for this.

Thanks for the quick reply

On the same topic, Is it legal to have multiple trading accounts by one person (i.e. one account on Zerodha and another on ICICI or HDFCSec?

Yes, that’s not a problem.

Can we map multiple terminal to individual account ?

No, this is now allowed now.

So we can have multiple terminal in company account ?

Nope.

Nithin said yes for this. Look at above comments by nithin

That is old one, currently this is not allowed.

Does It is banned by SEBI or Zerodha doesn’t offer this anymore ?

We don’t offer it anymore.
