Only one, regulations don’t allow a person to open two accounts with same broker.

@nool : if you want to have another demat account you can always open one with a cooperative bank or SHCL. thus you do not need to have trading account .

You can only open one individual account with the same broker with same PAN. If you try to open another account with same PAN, application will not be allowed.

Btw, you can open a non-individual account, in the name of a company, partnership firm, LLP, or HUF even if you holds an individual account with the same broker.
