Mutual fund order with secondary account

Does coin app allow to purchase equity/debt MF using the secondary account ?
I tried couple of times it gives option with NEFT & UPI only for the primary account

Can someone clarify

The secondary bank accounts can only be used to add funds to the Zerodha account.

Hi,

On upi front, we can’t allow secondary and tertiary bank accounts for payments because the exchange is not providing real time bank modification apis as of now, so there can be issues.

We allow secondary and tertiary only for mandates and neft payments. The exchange is working on real time bank modification apis and this facility will be enabled shortly. To understand more refer to the article below.
