Do we get the benefit of strengthening of Dollar and weakening of Rupee, when we invest in any U.S. ETF also or this benefit is limited to just direct equity investing only ?

Thats the reason people invest in US stocks.
Yes. This is one of the added benefits of investing in us based stocks. You get the currency depreciation benefit as well.
This also applies to tech companies where revenue is mainly in usd like tcs.
