I am new to bonds investing. Can someone clarify if it is possible to buy NCDs of new IPOs through KITE?
I don’t think you can buy ncds ipo from kite, I use Goldenpi and it’s pretty simple. Secondary market is good to pick decent YTM rates too but have to have patience.
It’s possible via ICICIdirect and few others. But I think they charge a part of the interest as the brokerage.
I know about golden pi. But I couldnt complete my transaction as strangely my upi id wasnt supported as per the list of upi ids given.
NCD IPOs are currently not available on Kite. This is on our list of things to do. For now, you can apply using Netbanking ASBA using your Zerodha demat account details. You can check the process here.
I have further query on NCD IPO. I got allotted NCD of Muthoot Fincorp in demat and it shows in my zerodha account. But I have still not received any communication from the company. What is one expected to do?
Nothing is expected now. You applied for it and you got it
