Need Calrity on delivery shares.

Am new user of shares selling / buying, I want to know am buying 100 shares as delivery for each share 100 rupees. so total amount I paid 10,000 and took that shares in delivery, next t+2 days it is reflecting in my demat account,

My question is can I sell these shares next year also or down so many year later ? or should I sell it in any particular time.

Brokerage is for number of days holding the shares or one time brokerage for delivery, pls educate.

You can hold these shares in your DEMAT account for Lifetime.

Even you can gift these shares to your children even grand children.

There is No Brokerage charges on Zerodha for delivery based Trades.

DP (Depository participant) charges
You will be charged ₹13.5 per scrip (irrespective of quantity), on the day, is debited from the demat account when stocks are sold.

When you buy shares in delivery, there is no time limit to hold the shares. It’s not only with zerodha but with any broker. It depends on you, you can either hold it for a day, a month, a year or till ’n’ number of years.

Check out brokerage calculator comprehensive to calculate how much brokerage, STT, tax etc. you have to pay on all your trades across NSE, BSE, MCX, MCX-SX. & also you can visit pricing section https://zerodha.com/pricing

Thanks for your information, if I want to sell the delivery shares, it would be sold on the price at the time of selling is it ? no on the time when I took the delivery ?

Thanks in advance
