I applied for the Bharat Coking Coal IPO. Initially, I applied through SBI NetBanking using the ASBA facility. However, after submitting the application, a technical error was displayed. I waited for a few hours and then checked the IPO application status in SBI NetBanking, but no application for Bharat Coking Coal was shown and the amount was also not blocked.
As a result, I applied again using UPI with the same demat account, bank account, and PAN. This application was successful, and the amount was blocked.
However, at around 5:30 PM, after the IPO application window had closed, I received two SMS messages from NSE, both confirming receipt of IPO applications, each with a different application number. Out of these two applications, the amount is blocked only for the UPI application. For the other application, the amount is not blocked and I have not received any confirmation from SBI regarding its status.
I would like to understand whether both applications will be rejected, or whether only the application without the blocked amount will be rejected and I will still be eligible for allotment based on the valid (UPI) application. Kindly guide me on this matter. Has anything similar happened with anyone?
