Do they mean that the total buy orders were only 33, which accounted for 14.85M volume?
There will be bid and ask prices in depth, if the ask price is lifted (traded) then it is a buy trade, if the bid is hit then it is sell trade.
May be that’s what their system captured.

Can’t be, each trade has something called max quantity, for nifty it is 1800(36 lots), it means max 1800 quantity only can be traded in one trade. May be you should ask them what it actually mean.
