I don’t see much difference between financial news and a WhatsApp forward anymore. At least the WhatsApp forward doesn’t pretend to have an editorial desk behind it.

I’m surprised an indian news media actually apologized. But why? Were they forced to do so by SEBI or other forces? Don’t news channels do this regularly though? STT hike or something else was presented by cnbc and they never apologized AFAIK.

Another reminder to never trust anything based on media hype. These TRP’s and clicks drive the narrative, not necessarily accuracy.
Once you gain enough market experience, you realise that independent research is far more reliable than these headlines.
