It is funny, but nothing ridiculous is actually being said here. What they are basically saying we need more of everything. Which is true. I simply think it as a Deliver the Goods™ problem, it can be called whatever one likes but the premise is still true. Everything is still attempting to solve for the greatest good for the greatest number of people.

As for the funny bit, that’s just the risk you sign up for when playing with Acronyms. You simply just have to ask your local Bureaucrat, what problems they face with Acronyms and policy naming and they would tell you its really hard. After all they have spent a lot of time doing just this. Putting acronyms around variables which you don’t fully understand yourself and which are ever changing. Might as well start squaring circles.

Even in ESG investing. There is no shame in accepting that major systemic problems simply cannot be solved through band-aids. Things like ‘climate change’ and ‘scarcity civilizations’ are just this, major systemic problems. Its like putting a car in front of running freight train with no brakes. To stop the train you would need a massive amount of force against it. That’s what technology is after all, massive force.

I do not believe individuals can protect the planet through a change in lifestyle at this point. Even if it has to be done this way, everybody, has to decide to retvrn to ancestral living right now-all at once. What does 8 Billion People living ancestrally even look like ? That simply would be its own freight train problem.

All these lists are incomplete without the main acronym “S” Science which makes everything listed here come to life. Unless markets can find a way to reward real science, solving real world problems, the acronyms will keep changing. Until then there is hope that the goods somehow get delivered on time, and hopefully a back door exit out of this Planet is ready.
