This week we will do beta for terminal mode on web, new watchlist on app should likely come to beta in couple of weeks.
… ?
Any update??
Ab to Z tareekh pe tareekh bhi nhi deta. ![]()
It is ready to go for beta, just being a little cautious to release before budget day, if not tomorrow after budget week we will do beta.
We’re rolling out the redesigned Marketwatch on the Kite mobile app, bringing feature parity with the web platform.
Watchlist Management
- Add up to 250 instruments per watchlist
- Create up to 25 watchlists
- Rearrange and delete watchlists as needed
- Access Ready-made watchlists
Grouping Features
- Create and manage groups within watchlists
- Apply colour coding for visual organisation
- Rearrange groups with long-press
- Sort instruments with flexible options
- Manage groups
In addition to this, we have also optimised the Marketwatch on the app with the following features:
Navigation Improvements
-
Expand/Collapse Groups: Quickly expand or collapse all groups in your Marketwatch—helpful when managing multiple groups. Collapse all and expand only the group you need.

-
Infinite Scroll: Scroll continuously through watchlist tabs—reaching the last watchlist automatically loops back to the first. Select watchlists directly from “My Watchlists” in the Discover section.

-
Scroll Bar: With 250 instruments now possible per watchlist, we’ve added a scroll bar for quick navigation. Long-press and drag to jump to the top or bottom instantly. We have made changes where an instrument is added to the Marketwatch, and it is auto-scrolled to the bottom.

Enhanced Filtering & Sorting
- Filter by segment (existing)
- Filter by holdings—view instruments you currently hold
- Filter by notes—view instruments with notes
- Sort by exchange in addition to existing sort options
Note: Sorting within a group can be done only when that particular group is maximised.
Settings Update
- Change type settings (Close/Open price) have been moved from app settings to Marketwatch settings for quicker access.
This release is now in beta and will roll out in phases to the live environment in the coming days.
Ios or android
I’m have been enrolled as beta tested in Google Playstore, however I’m not getting any updates.
Both
It’s beta for a subset of beta users right now. You should have access by Tuesday or Wednesday, with a gradual rollout.
Can we turn it off? It was easier when there was no infinite scrolling ![]()
No, I think it is better this way because I have 15 WLs, and scrolling back and forth was a problem, now if I have reached the end, I can just scroll further to jump to the first or back to the middle. Such an innovative idea. Zerodha team did great here IMO.
Most people are just nostalgic, but I think over time you’ll get a hang of it. Change is the only constant.
Looks like the recording attached doesn’t suit the description of the scroll bar.
Yes, I also have many watchlists. Earlier, if I had 15 watchlists and I was on the 8th one, I could quickly swipe left and reach the 1st watchlist easily. Now, the scrolling doesn’t stop at the 1st, it keeps going and sometimes lands on the 13th or 15th watchlist. So I have to swipe very carefully and check which watchlist I end up on. This problem wasn’t there before the unlimited scrolling feature.
Thanks for pointing it out. The actual recording is updated now.
Whether any change done in app wrt watchlists, groups are synced with the web and vice-versa?
When will it be released to everyone?
The watchlists and groups are synced across both the web and the app. Same watchlists created earlier on the web will be visible on the app, along with the group names, colors etc.
This is being released in a phased manner and should be available soon to everyone.
Any plan to release this week. Fundamental Widget
There are a few frontend issues yet to be addressed. This might take a few more weeks.
Hi, any update on this? Its been 2 weeks but I haven’t received this.
