Newbie to algo trading

Want to get started on deploying an algo to trade. If anyone experienced can point me in the right direction before i get started, would be very helpful!

Any reliable third party software recommendations are also welcome. Thanks in advance

You need to build you own algo and its required infrastructure.

Relying on any 3rd party is very risky.

In time based opton selling u cn use but nt in buying … if using 3rd party in op. buying jst make sure to add atlst 1% slippage

You can always build it on tradteron.

u can try market star algo in tradetron, they are transparent, u can follow them on telegram

manual is more better than Algo,… \

i see that too many glitch came on Tradetron while volatile market, as well on Broker API,

so please don’t think is algo is reduce human error, system error wipe your entire capital withing sec.

do understand that algorithmic trading is not just automated trading; both are different. algorithmic trading can be automated trading, and automated trading may or may not involve algorithms per se. the term “algorithmic” comes from the word “algorithm” which basically means a recipe or a process to achieve a specific goal. even a cooking recipe for pav bhaji or pizza is an algorithm, and different ways to get the same final dish ready are possible just like having different algorithms to reach the same answer. soo when you say “deploying an algo to trade” first we should decide if it is just shifting manual work to automation, or just using manual trading but with some intelligent code to assist (the algorithm - what you want to do and how to do it), or involving both.

It can be overwhelming initially, but it’s fascinating once you get the hang of it. I’d recommend starting with the basics, like learning how algorithms work and understanding market data. There are plenty of resources online, but one site I found helpful is moontrader.com . They’ve got tools and guides that make things more straightforward, especially for beginners. Also, don’t be afraid to initially experiment with small amounts of money. It’s all about learning; the more you practice, the better you’ll get. Take your time, don’t rush, and most importantly, have fun! You’ll get the hang of it before you know it.

Algo trading is useless unless you have colo connections, Ivy League coders, loads of processing power at your disposal and finally lots and lots of cash.
