NSE has revised quantity freeze limits for index derivatives from September 1, 2026:
- NIFTY: 1,800
- BANKNIFTY: 600
- FINNIFTY: 1,800
- MIDCPNIFTY: 2,800
- NIFTYNXT50: 600
- NIFTYFPI: 8,500
NSE has changed the quantity freeze limits.
But one thing Iām not able to get in my head around is NIFTY at 1,800.
The lot size is 65 ā so 27 lots is 1,755 and 28 lots is 1,820.
Am I missing something obvious here. 
Anyone know the logic behind this?
