Notification in mobile app

A general question , which broker sends the highest notification in mobile application which are 99% irrelevant?
I have observed zerodha and upstox with the least notifications among all the 6 brokers tried. Kite app pushes are the least and are only on relevant topics.

I have tried accounts with almost everyone.

Dhan pushing random videos, today it was something on bottom fishing. Angel stop respecting customer the moment onboarding is done, I uninstalled app. Groww more focused on promotional stuff.

Well aware of the settings , even you can use app notification in android and turn it off. But how to stop the spams coming daily( officially not by Angelone), the mails , the whatsapp msgs.
Unfortunately most of the trades I punch are on mobile as my job doesn’t allow me to open trading terminal on office laptop. I get lost switching from populated homepage to options watchlist to holdings in Angel.
Disclaimer : Have no holdings in angel😜. And in zerodha ,waiting for MF units as mtf collateral which is expected by the time Nifty cross 50k.

@thisisbanerjee chill dada. I asked for fun. Everyone has preferences and its okay. We as traders should focus on making tons of profits with the best tools we feel we have. Its good to be biased.Your feedbacks on community sections across platforms are appreciated. It helps many. :hugs::hugs:

Btw can anyone help me navigate the location in app where we can edit the alerts created in angelone android app?

As a trader, I believe my broker should never nudge me to trade or invest. Many brokers tend to send a lot of messages whether it’s about new offers, stock recommendations, or margin-related updates.

A broker should only send important updates when necessary, like margin shortfalls, order executions, or regulatory changes. It’s not about being completely silent, but about keeping notifications minimal and relevant.

At the end of the day, it comes down to personal preference. Some traders might like frequent updates and stock suggestions, while others prefer a cleaner experience with only essential notifications.

Haha, I get the need for notifications, but too many can feel like those annoying WhatsApp forwards from relatives! Zerodha keeps it clean only sending what actually matters, so we don’t get spammed with useless alerts. Honestly, in this case, Zerodha does it best!

Push notifications are delivered, even when the app is in the background or the device is idle, but sometimes factors like device state, network connectivity, and message priority can affect delivery.
