Is it fair Increase in Margins after market hours

@nithin @siva After the change in margin calculation methodology, I have observed that though my margin on fno positions are with in the limits till 3.30, they drastically increase after market hours. This makes my available margin to negative and am being charged a penalty and interest for shortfall. Don’t you think it is unfair to increase the margin after close of market hours. Has the broker community made any representation to the Exchanges and SEBI on this. Shouldn’t the final margin …
