  1. If you have holdings in your demat, you can sell it in any of the exchanges.
    Intraday
  2. If you have holdings of the same scrip that you bought, you can do arbitrage. It will be considered an Intraday trade. If you are just buying a scrip in NSE today and try to sell it in BSE it won’t happen.

Will there be DP charges in such cases?

@Ragavendran_M If I have 10 shares of RELIANCE in my demat account and I buy 10 shares from NSE at ₹1300 and sell them on BSE at ₹1350 on the same day, it will be considered an intraday trade according to your response. However, will I have to pay DP charges for it?

No need to pay in this case.

can we do intraday in same stock by opening and closing position on same exchange?(not vice versa)
For Ex, BUY 10QTY ON NSE , SELL 10QTY ON NSE
SELL 50QTY ON BSE, BUY 50QTY ON BSE

U cn do in different broker but thrs no sense … if u plan to exit d trade which doesnt perform by putting sl thn start late n save ur sl
