NSE (Exchange's own shares) Unlisted Shares

Heard of some people who claim to have bought it in anticipation of IPO. Searching it shows price 1615 or 1625 today.

  1. Can we buy NSE (or other unlisted shares) on Zerodha - searching help says you can hold but not but. Is this still correct (for NSE shares)?

  2. Many otherwise unknown sites are allowing to buy this. I have no idea how unlisted shares trading works. Are these sites genuine?

  1. No you cannot buy but it can be held transferred to account. It won’t show up in kite
