The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has announced a significant change to the expiry schedule for WTI Crude Oil Options on Futures contracts, effective from November 6, 2025.
Key Change
Previous expiry: Two business days before the underlying futures contract expires
New expiry: Seven business days before the underlying futures contract expires
Implementation Timeline
The revised expiry dates will apply to:
- December 2025 contracts and all subsequent months
- Changes become effective from November 6, 2025
- Expiry dates for already launched contracts (December 2025 and January 2026) will be revised from November 19, 2025
