Oil India Limited has discovered a new natural gas-bearing zone in the Dandewala Field, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The well reportedly recorded average gas inflow of nearly 25,000 SCMD from a depth of around 950 metres. Early estimates suggest around 75 MMSCM gas-in-place potential.
