Opt to ignore margins while intraday trading?

Hi,
In Zerodha, while doing intraday trading can i opt to not use margins on MIS ? Or is it applied by default ?

You can’t change or opt out of using margin while doing intraday. Also why would one want to opt out, It’s not like Zerodha charges you interest for using margins.
