How is Option higher circuit limit is calculated? is there any formula for it.
This morning 7150PE had 50 is higher circuit and it got changed to 65 later. how was that calculated.
The circuit limits are set in relation to the price at which the specific contract is trading.
They are reviewed periodically and new circuit limits are set if necessary. During the day if there’s a big change in the last traded value of the contract, the Exchange automatically sets new circuit limits.
