Option margin calculation?

i have confusion regarding option margin  calculation .

as per NSE chain 1st OCT

LTP FOR A LONG PUT at strike price 69.0000 is 2.5900 .

so if i want to go LONG PUT 1 lot at strike price of 69.0000 ...... i just need to pay 2.5900 or 2.5900 x 1000 = 2590 .

please explain .

it is very simple to calculate the Long Put or Long Call.

always multiply the premium or LTP with Lot SIze.

Eg. the lot size of nifty is 25 and LTP is 26.90 so you have to pay 25x26.80 =670
