PAN Card Name change

Hello Everyone,

I recently found out that due to a slight difference in my names in my PAN & Aadhaar cards my KYC with banks is now not going through. I need to have it corrected asap else I could run into further KYC issues in others places.

My PAN name is RAJARSHI SENGUPTA (from 1990) & I am not aware of the supporting document I may have provided.

My Aadhaar name is RAJARSHI SEN GUPTA (from 2013 when I enrolled) & is according to my 10th marksheet name.

I have been advised to correct my name in the PAN card.

My Zerodha a/c name, depository a/c name & all the linked Coin MF a/cs are as per my current PAN name.

My question is will correcting my name in my PAN card now lead to issues later on. How can I ensure that the corrected name is updated in all the a/cs including MFs, depository, & Zerodha?

Sir,

You can update your name as per Aadhar to match the name as per PAN.

You’re right, it is possible that you may run into kyc issues in the future. Better to correct it. I myself had this problem so I updated name in Aadhar.

You can visit any govt empanelled e service vendor to get it changed.
