I short sell on Friday in cash intraday. I square off the position on same day. But some funds locked 12-15%. Amount will return to my account after T+2 days ? I am using FINVASIA brokerage.
“Provisional amount for short selling” I see this word in my contract note.
There is no penalty for doing short trades on intraday basis. You need to take it up with your broker.
I am already talked with customer support team. They told locked amount will get reflect after T+2 days. I used many brokerages, but not like this. Why they are doing like this ?
Only they can answer why they do this.
