The R3 & S3 pivots are showing R4/S4 numbers on Chart IQ compared to calculating it manually. This is misleading information. Can it be solved???
Chartiq and tv are using two different formulas to calculate R3/S3, that’s the reason you are seeing the difference.
This is the formula used for R3/S3 on chartiq.
Third support level (S3) = P – 2*(H-L)
Third resistance level (R3) = P + 2*(H – L)
Tradingview formula:
vR3 = xHigh + 2 * (vPP - xLow)
vS3 = xLow - 2 * (xHigh - vPP)
