Placing intraday order before market time

I wish to place intraday orders before start-of-trade time (before 9:15 am IST).

Suppose the last closing price of share ABC is 159.95, should i place a limit order for 159.95 with a trigger of 158? So that as soon as the market opens, my order gets executed as the open price is greater than trigger (or last closing price).

The last closing price may not be relevant to opening price as overnight market factors may influence the opening price.
