Recommended Parameters for Stochastic Momentum Index
%K Periods: 14
%K Smoothing: 2
%K Double Periods: 3
%D Periods: 9
MA Type: SIMPLE
%D MA Type: SIMPLE

You need to change the look back period of momentum for different time frame,

You may get false signal due spikes in price change and maximum during sideway

Best way is to test above recommended periods and fine tune for your set up
