Sorry if this sounds stupid but i am new to trading and of course Zerodha. So i was filling the form and on the 18th page came across this section “request letter for registration of mobile no./email ID of person belonging to the client’s family”. I don’t know what to write and where??? Is it even relevant to me? I also see that it’s optional so does that mean my account will be created even without this?

This is required if you’re opening an account for your spouse, parents and plan to use your own mobile number for their accounts also. If you’re having a separate mobile number for each of them, then there’s no need for you to sign this declaration. Also if you’re linking your own mobile number for your trading account, you needn’t sign this declaration, your account will get opened without this.
