Looking at stiff falls in heavy stocks like Adani and Zeel, it looks tempting to just short futures and make good money. However I know most of the times professional traders only prefer to trade in index futures and avoid trading in stock futures. Please let me know the reasons why it is risky to trade stock futures??

You can trade in individual stock futures with smaller quantity so that you can enter and exit quickly without much slippage.
