Yes, you can sell shares that you bought today in the post-market.
You can able to place only market orders during the post-market sessions.

yes , market order accepted , it is in pending ,

@Ragavendran_M @Adarsh_Patil I placed post market buy order today but order is getting place above market price and getting convert to limit. There was no seller on that time.

Will Zerodha place order above current price in post market??

Hey, we do not make any modifications to the order.

In the post-market session, only market orders are allowed. If there is no buyer/seller available, the unexecuted order gets converted into a limit order at the closing price.

The closing price can differ from the LTP since it is calculated based on the weighted average price of trades during the last 30 minutes of the regular market session.

Hello the unexecuted order gets converted into a limit order. U mean only for that session till 4 pm or it becomes AMO for next trading day ?

In normal market there is no brokerage for delivery CNC buying. Is it same for post market session which begins at 3.40 pm ? Sellers are available for some shares and not available for other shares. Is it visible? Can I see Sellers are available for which shares? 3rd question if ex date for dividend is 5th june and i buy shares in post market on 4th june shall I get dividend? Assume there is no holiday not even settlement holiday
