in US you can see pre market volume and pre market chart as well. in near future, there is any chance of this feature we will see in zerodha?
In our pre market there won’t be continuous trading, just one trade at 9.07 considering demand and supply, pre market ticks are useless and won’t give any reliable info.
The pre-open session lasts for 15 minutes from 9 AM to 9:15 AM and is divided into three parts. In the first 8 minutes orders are placed. These orders can be cancelled or modified during this period. In the next 4 minutes price discovery will be done, and orders will be executed. The remaining 3 minutes are the buffer period to facilitate transition between pre open and continuous trading session.
so tell me where do we get premarket volume???
No, price discovery will happen at end of 7th or 8th minute.
Till 7th or 8th minute it will show indicative( probable) volume for NSE, at end of that, trade will happen at discovered price and that volume will be displayed.
this is from website called fatafat screnner. red column shows the pre-market volume for fno stocks. where exactly are they getting from???
