Profit Calculation of Bank Nifty or any nifty

Hi,

I want to understand the profit calculation of bank nifty.

If I buy one lot(30) of BANKNIFTY at 16000 and sell it at 16500. So do I need to multiply 500 to 30 or is there any other calculation I need to do for this?

Please give you comments.

Its fairly simple:

(Sell price) - (Buy price) * Lot Size. In this case it’d be:

(16500-16000)*30 = Rs.15000
